PUNS Docs
How it all works.
PUNS is a dual-chain memecoin launcher. One form launches your coin on pump.fun (Solana) and on Pons (Robinhood Chain), paired to another memecoin — and the trading fees the coin earns are automatically bought into that paired coin and dropped to holders, every hour.
What is PUNS?
PUNS lets anyone launch a memecoin through pump.fun — and, on the same form, through Pons on Robinhood Chain — with one extra twist: at launch you pick a paired memecoin — any Solana token you like. From that moment on, the creator fees your coin generates don't sit idle. They get swapped into the paired coin and airdropped to everyone holding your coin.
Holders don't stake, don't claim, don't do anything. Holding the coin is the ticket.
Launching a coin
- 1
Connect your wallet
Any Solana wallet works — Phantom, Solflare, Backpack. Hit connect in the top right or on the launch button itself.
- 2
Fill in your coin
Name, ticker, description and an image — same as any launchpad. You can also attach a website, X post/profile and Telegram link; they're baked into the coin's pump.fun metadata.
- 3
Pick your paired memecoin
This is the coin your holders will earn. Choose from trending Solana memecoins — the picker shows live prices and icons.
- 4
Pay the launch fee
One signature, one transaction. You pay a flat 0.5 SOL launch fee — that's all you ever pay. Network costs are covered by PUNS.
- 5
You're live
The coin is created on pump.fun by the PUNS vault, and your coin appears on pump.fun immediately, with rewards running from the first trade.
How rewards work
Every trade on a pump.fun coin generates creator fees. For coins launched on PUNS, those fees are collected by the protocol and run through the reward engine every hour:
- 1
Fees are claimed
The accumulated creator fees for each live coin are claimed on-chain.
- 2
Swapped into the paired coin
The claimed SOL is swapped via Jupiter into the memecoin the coin is paired to — at market price, automatically.
- 3
Airdropped pro-rata
The paired coins are distributed to every holder in proportion to their share of supply. Hold 3% of the supply, get 3% of that round's rewards. Straight to your wallet.
No claiming, no staking contracts, no lock-ups. If you hold the coin when the hourly round runs, you get paid.
Under the hood — the wallets
PUNS runs on two wallets, plus yours. Here's exactly who does what and where every lamport goes:
- 1
Your wallet (the launcher)
The moment you hit launch, one transaction runs. Your wallet's only job in it is a single 0.5 SOL launch fee. You sign once and you're done — you never pay for anything else.
- 2
The PUNS vault — the launcher
The vault originates every launch on-chain and fronts all network fees and rent. It also receives a small 0.05 SOL slice of each launch fee so it can keep paying for future launches and reward operations without running dry.
- 3
The protocol fee wallet
Where the bulk of launch fees and 100% of creator fees land. This funds the reward infrastructure, the swaps into paired Solana memecoins, and ongoing development of the platform.
So the flow is: you pay 0.5 SOL once → 0.45 SOL funds the protocol reward engine, 0.05 SOL tops up the vault → the vault launches and operates your coin → trading fees become hourly memecoin rewards for your holders. Everyone's incentives point the same direction: more volume, bigger rewards.
Fees, plain and simple
- 0.5 SOL flat to launch a coin. One time, paid by you — 0.45 SOL goes to the protocol fee wallet and 0.05 SOL goes to the vault to keep covering network costs.
- 0 SOL for network fees, rent, swaps or airdrops beyond the launch fee — the vault covers all of it.
- Launch fees keep the whole machine running: they fund the vault's operations, the hourly Jupiter swaps, and the airdrop pipeline that delivers paired memecoins to holders.
- Holder rewards are funded by the trading fees each coin generates. No volume, no rewards — the incentives are aligned: grow your coin, grow the rewards.
pump.fun and Pons — the two launchpads
pump.fun is the Solana bonding-curve launchpad every PUNS coin goes live on. It is always part of a launch.
Pons (pons.family) is the same idea on Robinhood Chain — an Ethereum-compatible L2 run by Robinhood, chain id 4663. A coin buys out a bonding curve and then graduates into a Uniswap v4 pool with permanently locked liquidity. Because it is a different chain, the Pons leg is a second transaction sent by a Robinhood Chain vault, not the Solana one.
The Pons leg switches on in the launcher as soon as the Robinhood Chain vault and the Pons launch factory are wired up. Until then the launcher shows it as not connected — it will never claim a coin went live on a chain it did not touch.
FAQ
Do I need SOL in my wallet to launch?
Just 0.5 SOL plus a tiny bit for the transaction signature. The vault handles the actual on-chain costs.
Which coins can I pair to?
Solana memecoins. The picker lists the top-traded ones with live prices and icons.
When do rewards arrive?
Hourly. Each round claims fees, swaps into the paired coin and airdrops to holders pro-rata.
Do I have to claim or stake?
No. Rewards land directly in holder wallets. Holding is the whole job.
